The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team of managers tasked with making it run.
Plant Manager should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes.
Plant Manager will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of Scheduler, Production Manager and Maintenance
- Direct Supervision of Production Team including press operators, rewinders, press helpers
- Analyze production costs and inventory utilizing Lean Six Sigma to identify improvements
- Proven record of leading manufacturing teams
- Examine processes and design plans to use available resources effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
- 10 years' experience in mid- or large-size flexographic print manufacturing
- 5+ years of management experience in large-scale printing field
- Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations
- Strong communication, management and supervisory skills
